Why Stewardship Matters

Stewardship is one of the ways the life of the house becomes visible. It is the practice of caring well for life, resources, responsibilities, and the created world.

For House of Jaxen, stewardship is not separate from faith — it is one of the ways faith takes form.

Earth & Spirit

The physical and spiritual health of God's children is inseparable from the health of the Earth. When land is harmed, waters are polluted, and life systems collapse, living souls suffer spiritually and physically. Restoration is sacred work.

Marine & Reef Conservation

One important expression of this work is our secondary mission in marine and reef conservation. We believe that care for creation belongs within the larger work of stewardship, and that tending the life and beauty of the natural world is one way we honor what has been given.

We steward; we do not extract. We restore; we do not exploit.

We provide focused attention to marine life and reef ecosystems as part of our broader work of stewardship.
